Philippine Tourist Entry Requirements
All visitors must be in possession of a valid passport with at least six months to run at the end of their stay. They must also have a return air ticket and, if asked, be able to prove that they have sufficient funds to finance their stay.
Officials will initially grant entry on a visitor's visa for up to 21 days. Visas can be extended for another 38 days if you purchase a visa extension through the Bureau of Immigration. The main office is at Magallanes Drive, Intramuros, Manila.
You'll need a copy of the information page of your passport and the applicable fee. Take onward flight details with you if you have them. You may need to provide proof that you can support yourself during extension.
If you overstay the initial 21-day visa and you don't get a visa extension, you'll be fined as you leave the country.
Customs
Passengers over the age of 18 can import the following items duty-free:
- 400 cigarettes or 2 tins of tobacco

All ports and airports charge a government collection departure tax ranging from 750 pesos for internation departures from Manila to 20 pesos from ports like Tagbilaran.
Under current security guidelines no liquids will be allowed into the departure lounges or onto flights to and from Manila - not even the 100ml allowed at other airports in other coutries.
