Though it is only natural that personal conflicts between two persons sometimes arise, much of these disagreements melt when met with Filipino warmth and a good smile. These character traits which are very endearing make the Filipino well-loved in other parts of the world whereever he may be.
When he works in other countries, his work is at par with other workers of other countries, producing highly-professional work outputs. Some of these professionals who seek their luck abroad are nurses, engineers, doctors, house-helpers, and other overseas foreign workers (OFWs) who, most of the time, eventually find their affluence. When you visit the Philippine Islands, it is not hard to find a new friend as the Filipinos are reknowed for their friendship and camaraderie. These traits are best exemplified when you visit thier respective homes, especially during fiestas and celebrations. This was observed by a foreigner who wrote that "Filipinos are extremely hospitable people. Guests are often considered like royalty in Philippine households. This is revealed noticeably during fiestas when even absolute strangers are accepted and permitted to partake of the feast that most, if not all, households within the town arrange during the a certain occasion."
When it comes to faith, Filipinos are religious; practicing mostly the Christian faith as well as the Moslem religion.

In keeping with their faith, they celebrate different festivals in honor of their God and patron saints. Some of these festivals are the Sinulog, SantaCruzan, and the Antipolo Fluvial festivals.
Respect for the other person, especially for the elderly, is one of the Filipinos' highest quality traits recognized. This is usually shown by taking the elderly person's hand and placing it on one's forehead.
The Filipino man is responsible, strong in character and heads the family with strength, patience and love. He is easily recognizable. He is light-brown skinned, with an average height. He has Malay hair, usually straight or wavy. His smile is infectious surrounding perfectly shaped white teeth. He is usually seen working hard or toiling the land he owns in order to have something to feed to his family. He is the pillar of the family
The Filipino (filipina, pinay) woman is gentle, kind, and faithful to her husband or partner. She is beautiful, not just in the physical sense of beauty. She is usually brown or fair-skinned. She supports her husband in his endeavors and takes care of her children with love. She is the light of a Filipino family. Her presence brings peace to a household.
Life is sometimes never easy for a Filipino, but he takes it easy in simple strides and with a smile, for he is an optimist. And when this optimism is coupled with hard work, success usually comes within his grasp.
