Filipino Food Recipe - Pininyahang Adobo

Pininyahang Adobo Ingredients
2 tablespoons corn oil
8 cloves garlic, crushed
700 grams pork and pork liver, sliced into cubes
3 tablespoons vinegar
1/4 salt
1/2 teaspoon cracked peppercorns
2 tablespoons patis
1 cup pineapple chunks
Cooking Instructions for Pininyahang Adobo
In a pan, heat oil and saute grlic until lightly brown. Add pork and stir-fry until brown.
Add vinegar and simmer. Don't stir until vinegar boils and releases its acidic odor. Add salt, pepper and patis and continue simmering until pork is tender.
Throw in pineapple chunks, simmer a while and then serve.
Cooking Tip: Use pineapple that is not fully ripened if you want to increase the tartness of this adobo-type dish.
