Filipino Food Recipe - Estofadong Tapa

Estofadong Tapa Ingredients
1 piece pata (pork leg), boiled until tender
1 teaspoon garlic
2 tablespoons onion
1/4 cup banana blossoms, soaked in water
1/2 teaspoon oregano
2 pieces bay leaves
1 piece tankwei
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 1/2 cups pork or chicken stock
2 tablespoons vinegar
1/4 cup rice wine
3 pieces saba, slice into two
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Cooking Instructions for Estofadong Tapa
In a pan, saute pata with garlic, onions, banana blossoms, oregano, bay leaves and tankwei.
Add soy sauce, stocks, vinegar and rice wine. Let boil, then add saba. Simmer to cook.
Cooking Tip: You may also add ginger, fresh peanuts and saba.
